This was an exercise in one-point linear perspective. Even the dead leaves on the road got in on the act, lining up one by one, and getting gradually smaller as they were farther away.

This place is about half a block from my studio. I often go out on the highway looking for scenes to draw, photograph, and paint, but sometimes it’s good to remember that where I live is also very beautiful.
