This month's challenge is a little different...
Instead of 31 prompts, there are only four. The goal is to do four projects (approx. one per week) based on four loose themes.
Each project can be completed in any medium and style.
Project 1: Still life of fruit/veg It could be a single apple, or a mixture of multiple different fruits and/or veg. You could take your own reference photo or look for one on the likes of Pixabay or Unsplash. It can contain other items too (containers, cutlery, other foodstuff) but the main emphasis must be fruit or veg.
|
Project 2: Landscape or seascape Self-explanatory - and landscape or seascape again using either your own reference photo or a copyright-free one from the likes of Pixabay or Unsplash.

"Apple" This is my first still life painting in a long while. My drop cloth turned into an atmospheric background I think, but the apple itself turned out well. |
"Procter Harrop Ferry Landing" This is from a photo I took during July of 2006, looking west from the ferry landing on Highway 3 Balfour / Nelson. |

Project 3: Bird or Flying Insect

Project 4: Human figure(s) |

"Giant Swallowtail" Based upon a photo by Shelly Morales, at Every Artist's Reference Library. The Giant Swallowtail is the largest butterfly in North America, with a wingspan of about 6 inches. It is typically found in the Eastern United States. |
"The Cyclist" From a photo I took at Lower Waterton Lake during July of this year. |
